PHIBBLE TV

Launching March, 2012

Phibble TV has always been about supporting Producers that believe in the art of film, and it's impact on the fans.

The film and television industry has been taken over by large conglomerates who care more about profits than the shows and films they distribute, as a result, the quality of this content is slowly degrading to a slurry of "re-do's" and films that rely more on special affects than the script.

On top of these low quality films and shows being forced down our throats at outrageous prices, the movie industry would like to censor the Internet in the United States. They are not only supporting SOPA1 (and it's counterpart PIPA2), but has also donated heavily to the campaigns of the Congressmen and Senators working very hard to push these bills through without regard for how it will affect the infrastructure of the Internet, or how it violates the First Amendment of the Constitution.

It's time for this abuse to end. While the entertainment industry is huge and powerful, they haven't seen the power that the people possess. We are stronger than them, and WE decide whether or not they succeed or fail.

I think it's time for them to fail, and send a message to the multinational conglomerates and governments around the world that says - "if you abuse us, we will fight back and you will cease to exist".

As part of the Operation: Independence Network, Phibble TV is your alternative to the madness that is the movie industry. We are recreating an industry that puts the control back where it belongs ‐ the producers and the fans!

All of the shows and films here is created by Independent artists who price their content reasonably and believe in rewarding their fans for their loyalty. By supporting the artists on this site, you not only help them earn a living, but you also rip control from the studios who continuously rip the fans off.

1. SOPA stands for "Stop Online Piracy Act", which is a very misguided bill in the House that is aimed at stopping counterfiet goods and copyright violations. Read more about it here.

2. PIPA stands for Protect IP (intellectual property) ACT, SOPA's counterpart in the Senate.
